While thinking of a pillow’s functionality, things that one would expect is a good sleep or something to tuck in incase one’s mind has a cobweb of mushy corny thoughts. But Century saw pillows as an ergonomic business product idea and came up with the concept of Sound Pillows.

The name pretty much suggested its capabilities. There is a speaker that hides inside the pillow that will exhale your favourite music and let you soak into serene sleep and comfort. The speakers have a 3.5mm stereo plug and a cable that runs almost 4 feet. I am just hoping the sound devise is cushioned pretty well inside and it doesn’t pop out to hurt the user’s head.

Century wasn’t done playing its cards when it scooped Sound Pillow. The makers have understood how hard it is to find headphones when actually in need and also that playing loud music in public could invite unpleasant attention. Hailed as iHat, the hat-headphone combo has inbuilt speakers that lets you enjoy music on the go. It has a cable that is almost 3.5 feet which lets you hold your iPod as unless your hands are bigger than that.Well, like most of the tech fresh products, both Sound Pillow(US $ 61) and iHat(US $50) are only available in Japan for now. No word on how soon they would be available globally.
