OQO the acclaimed company announced Model 2+ which really does have an OLED display. Apparently, the device is almost like a full PC in your pocket. It runs on the Intel Atom CPU and is being touted as the world’s first PC OLED Display.

The OQO Model 2+ will also come with integrated backlit QWERTY keyboard, 120GB, 2GB RAM, WWAN, Bluetooth, Windows XP Home. Pro or Vista, and will measure 5.6 x 3.3 x 1.0 inches. It is expected to cost over $2,000 with all the accessories and customized configurations you would want.

It is definitely pricey so I wonder if people would be ready to spend that kind of money. Moreover, the economic recession may actually discourage people from spending a lot on gadgets. However, the world’s first PC OLED Display deserves more and will surely find its takers.
