Orange TV is making its presence felt at the CES 2009 as well, and may hold the key to the next generation of TV remote controls. Perhaps you would no longer have to push the buttons on a boring old remote, and you would just have to make gestures and the TV would understand it.
Keanu by Orange Valley will command the TV to change channels and increase or decrease volume and open doors to a multitude of services. The technology may not be new but it may perhaps be the first time someone is using such 3D gesture enabled technology to bring great remote controls home.
Perhaps, the company may even launch a voice based remote for your TV after the gesture controlled remote. This technology will be used not only for TV but also to browse net, play games etc. CES 2009 has really been a grand place to check out cool products.
