The Consumer Exhibition also saw some really high technology products being announced and people only lapped it all up without any qualms. The SD association who launched their famous SD Flash card were also present at the exhibition and this year have come up with a brand new memory card that seeks to revolutionize the industry.

The SDXC or the SD eXtended Capacity card provides up to 2 Terabytes of storage capacity and more. This was already reported though, on this blog. However, what is new is that it is a leapsfrog memory card interface, which has tremendous speeds.

In fact, the SD card is so cool that you can go ahead and add about 100 HD movies, about sixty hours of one of those high grade recording, mostly HD again and even seventeen thousand photos. In fact you can put so much into a 2TB space that we do not need to mention. It would be interesting which device will use these cards next and in a way the market may never respond to GBs but will soon shift to MBs.
