When all the big names are at the CES 2009, how can Sony be left behind? The company has unveiled a super portable computer, which is also being touted as a netbook. The product can be used to browse the web, edit documents, send and receive emails while on the go.

The Vaio P which we had heard sometime back is the mystery gadget and weighs only 518g and can easily be fit inside a business envelope. It comes with 3G, 2GB memory, 128GB space and the battery will last for about 4 hours.

In my opinion, that would be a drawback for if the gadget must be truly portable, it should have a long battery life. Moreover, the Vaio P costs 849 Pounds when the same kind of netbook offered by Asus costs only 200 Pounds. Now you can do the calculation and see if the product will have any takers.
