Thieves leave no stones unturned and if you thought your GPS gadget mounted on the dashboard of the car was safe, you are completely wrong. It is quite well known now, that the portable GPS gadgets are something that the thieves always steal, no matter what.

In order to prevent such thefts, you could take a look at the Maplock, which tethers your GPS to the steering wheel and in no way can the thief carry the GPS gadget away, unless he dismantles the entire steering wheel! It certainly looks quite uncool, if you attach the GPS gadget to the steering wheel but then you would be saving your expensive GPS gadget!
