If you were tired of the kind of entertainment you got from your car dashboard, you should check out what Audi and NVIDIA are going to offer. They have joined hands to offer some of the best in-dash navigation and entertainment system you could think of.
The 3G MMI system is amazingly futuristic and well designed, and at the CES 2010, much was revealed to the public. Google Earth, 3D topography, real-time traffic reporting and navigation allow you to not only be entertained but also know where you are driving. iPod, SD card, USB memory stick support, and online video take care of your other needs.
The 3G MMI would be shipped along with Audi A8 in 2011 and you would have to wait till then. After 2010, all Audi cars would come with the 3G MMI system. I must say, this is a really cool thing to happen to those who love in-car entertainment and navigation. There is no information about the pricing yet, but expect it to be expensive.
