If you thought you would have to wait for 4G to arrive for a long time, think again. Sprint has announced that there would be a cool Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot which would be unveiled by Sierra Wireless at CES 2010. It would allow you to connect 5 Wi-fi enabled devices simultaneously by using a single Wi-fi connection.

You could connect cellphones, cameras, laptops and gaming devices and get speeds which would be 10 times faster than 3G speeds. The Overdrives creates a connection between the Sprint 4G connection and all the millions of gadgets that are enabled with Wi-fi. You could download data in terms of gigabytes and not megabytes in a matter of few seconds.

You could use the Overdrive 3G/4G at home, in the dorm, on the go and also at the workplace! Looks like the new platform would allow us to experience he 4G technology even without buying gadgets that are enabled with 4G which means we do not have to spend money over new gadgets and all that one needs is a Wi-fi enabled gadget and a Sprint connection.
