One of the biggest computer networking accessories manufacturers, D-Link has announced the launch of the state of the art Boxee Box that, enables a user to stream multimedia, such as movies and television shows from the internet or from a hard drive directly onto a television. The all new Boxee Box from D-Link will be available for $199 and has also been provided with Adobe Flash player. Also, the Boxee Box Model DSM-380 from D-Link has also grabbed an innovation honoree title in the Home Theater Accessories category at the Consumers Electronics Show 2010 (CES).

This all new direct to TV hardware is expected to revolutionize the way people stream online content on to their televisions, as the Boxee Box does not require PC connection and can stream directly from the internet, all with the help of a simple remote control. This device has a far more online reach than any other internet to TV component, as the Boxee Box can also access a host of informative and educational online content such as university courses, panel discussions, academic lectures, presentations and other related videos from a host of prominent sources such as TED, Stanford, FORA.tv, Kid Mango, Next New Networks etc.

Furthermore, Boxee Box also works as a great online music jukebox, as the device is capable of streaming media from some of the most famous music websites, such as Pandora, last.fm, shoutcast, and We are Hunted, along with image from social network giants like flickr, Picasa and Facebook.
