Wi-fi is still growing and though it may sound like a really old technology, it is still new and developments are only progressing in a positive manner. Wi2Wi is an amazing company that is known for their multiple radio solutions and their connectivity solutions as well.

This time around they have launched the Mobile Embedded Hotspot technology which would turn any electronic device into a pocket sized wireless hotspot, if it already has an Internet connection. This means, if you have a gadget that is connected to the Internet through other broadband or 3G connections, you could let up to 8 people to access Internet as your electronic device would behave as a Wi-fi hotspot.

This technology could be sued with MIDs, smart-phones, digital cameras, PMPs, and PNDs. It is an amazing technology that would have far reaching consequences. It was announced at the CES 2010. This is something that most of us would like to have, as it would come to use not only in business situations but also personal ones.
