Dell had been conspicuously silent at the CES 2011 but we heard them announce a Smartphone and a tablet at the same time. Now, I do not get what the obsession about Smartphones and tablets is all about this year at the CES 2011. There are several predicts that could have been launched anyway. Nevertheless, the Dell products seem to be promising.

The Venue Smartphone and Streak 7 tablet were announced at the CES 2011 and there already has been a buzz about these products. The Dell Venue Smartphone is an amazing device that comes with cool features such as 4.1″ AMOLED display, 8MP camera, Android 2.2 OS, and also Gorilla Glass that is hard to break. The onboard storage is not much and is just 1 GB.

The Dell Streak 7 is yet another cool device that is a tablet. It comes with a 7 inch display just like the BlackBerry PlayBook which was announced today too. There is also a camera of 5MP and a front camera of 1.3 MP. There is no information about the price as of now, but one could expect the prices to be announced soon.
