Clinton Calls for Sino-American Co-Operation

Hillary Clinton, who recently visited South East Asia paid a visit to China and discussed relations between the Chinese government and the U.S. She felt and called for a better and deeper relationship between the two countries. She felt the two countries needed to co-operate in the arena of economics and climate change.

China being a global economy and a major player in the international politics and events has a great influence over the American economy as well. U.S, in return has a lot for the Chinese as well in terms of economic and technological co-operation. Perhaps the new American government realizes the importance and strength of the Chinese nation for it has far reaching influence over political, strategic and military affairs in the region.

It would be interesting how the giants would co-operate with each other. Moreover, Russia being a neighbour of China and both being close allies, it would be interesting to see how the relationship between China and the U.S develops during Barack Obama’s tenure.
