Last moth, we reported about Starbucks, one of the biggest coffee outlets in the United States had announced its plans to introduce absolutely free wifi service for all its customers across the United States and Canada without any time restraints. Now, it seems Starbucks has come true to its word, as the company has now launched the free wireless Internet services in all its outlets throughout the U.S and Canada, offering its patrons free wifi with their hot cup of coffees.

As per this new initiative, all the Starbucks customers with laptops, tablet devices and mobile phones with wifi capabilities will now be able to surf the web, connect to their favorite social networks and conduct all their online activities, absolutely free of charge. Previously, Starbucks provided its patrons with the ability to access the wifi on a limited two hours basis and the customers had to purchase a Starbucks wifi card, that provided them with a username and a password to log on. As an ongoing deal with one of the biggest wireless carriers in the U.S, AT&T, Starbucks will continue its partnership with the carrier in the United States. As for Canada, Starbuck has collaborated with Bell to provide the free wireless Internet services to its customers, Bell and Starbucks have had a long standing relationship since the year 2005.
