Companies Rolling Out Swine Flu Damage Control

Some of the top companies and employers have begun an all new damage control system to ensure that their projects and their operation continued even after their employees call in sick. These measures are quite employees friendly and also keeps the company in motion.

Reputed firms such as United Health Group Inc. have implemented programs, such providing the opportunity to the employees to work from their homes, who display symptoms of the swine flu and also discourage in-person meetings. Furthermore, preventive measures have also been taken to ensure that the threat of swine flu is avoided in the offices as far as possible. These measure include the usage of hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes and tissues.

Apart from the preventive measures, the companies have also initiated awareness programs that includes seminars on hygiene, distribution of information about the flu and also providig advice to the employees that, if they do show the symptoms of the pandemic, then should stay at home and report to the nearest hospital. To ensure that, the employees who are ill do not get worried about their pay checks, the firms are offering paid leaves and have also let go of the medical certificates that are generally required by the firms in cases related to the medical leaves.
