
One of the biggest and most influential lifestyle magazines conglomerate, Conde Nast is gearing up for a big time introduction in the much anticipated and highly awaited Apple Tablet. Conde Nast has been in the process of introducing tablet versions of its publications, ever since the talks of Apple Tablet hit the market.
Wired Magazine, which is one of the primary publications from Conde Nast has reportedly being converted into a digital version as well, for the Apple Tablet, thus confirming the speculations that Apple Inc. might be in the process of introducing its own Tablet in the year 2010. after the release of the digital version of the Wired magazine, the other 18 titles from Conde Nast are also slated for release on the Apple Tablet.
According to Conde Nast, the digital version of its publications will not only be limited to the Apple Tablet, but will be designed specifically to be run on a majority of tablets that, it believes will be released shortly. The digital versions of the magazines will be based on the Adobe platform for universal compatibility with tablet machines. Even without any confirmation from Apple regarding its proposed Tablet launch, Conde Nast officials are in intense talks with Apple Inc and Hewlett Packard (HP) for the inclusion of the publications in tablets that these companies are expected to launch in the near future.
Adobe Systems has also confirmed the development of the software required for the digital publications and has stated the development of such software isn’t exclusive only to Conde Nast, but similar deals can be struck with other publishing houses as well.
