Traffic and parking are probably the deciding factors if you want to step out anywhere, be it the cinema, a new circus, a rock concert or even shopping. Most cities in the world move at a snail’s pace thanks to traffic congestion.
They are the new and compelling problems of the 21st century, with hardly any thought on the infrastructure needed to address them. Parking woes can quite bring life to a standstill at times uncalled for. Yet, urban landscapes are completely ill-equipped to measure up to the adding millions of vehicles on the roads.
Mexican designer Paula Nogueron has come up with a flexible structure that when needed, provides temporary parking space for various occasions such as social gatherings.
So you don’t have to worry or have heartaches if it is a concert held in an open space. The structure can be set up within a short time for your car park. It is called Parque ING. It is almost tent-like, while having to be put up for the short time that parking is required and restoring its landscape to its original form.
