Controversial UN Climate Chief Adds Steamy Novel to Kitty

UN’s top climate man Raj Pachauri has been in the eye of storm ever since the press reported fudged up research data from his team, about the melting of Himalayan Glaciers. His latest venture may well risk his being dubbed as someone with the steamy side up. He has written a racy novel which doles out oodles of sex, reincarnation and a Hollywood actress!

The novel, Return to Almora, unlike his other books and despite the controversy he surrounded himself with, is likely to set tongues wagging about his obsession with describing sexual encounters. Sixty nine-year-old Rajendra Pachauri, is the head of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). His novel has generated enough steam ahead of Valentine’s Day!

Return to Almora narrates the academic protagonist Sanjay Nath’s sexual adventures, and of course puts together sermons on climate change, environment and the fate of Himalayan glaciers. Pachauri has of course refused to step down. Sanjay Nath, the novel’s protagonist, shocks his parents by declaring he was a merchant in past life and that his wife is alive. Passages that describe his sexual encounters, are being touted as potential picks for London’s Bad Sex awards.
