Have you ever wished to take your iPod into the swimming pool? Well, if you thought this sounds threatening fro your safety, then you might just want to heave a sigh of relief and bring a smile on your face. The new Aqua Tune Nano 4G from Japan’s Focal provides a durable waterproof case for your Nano 4G.

You can take this not only to your swimming pool but also to beach, river or even to your bathtub. It has got a pair of high-output 1W speakers, which can also withstand dampness. The polycarbonate shell is sealed with a watertight O-ring that keeps water away, and helps in keeping your electronic gadgets nice and dry. If you do not have a Nano, you can perhaps go for the Aqua Tune v2. This may not be as svelte as the Nano 4G, but it works with almost every non-touchscreen iPod model. They are currently available in Japan and it is not yet certain as to when they will be available outside Japan.

The Nano 4G model is being sold at ¥10,800 (appx. $118 USD) while the v2 is sold at slightly higher price at ¥15,800 (appx. $173 USD).
