Somebody rightly said,” Appearances can be deceptive.” This is literally true at least when it comes to Crosley Nomad Portable Radio, which has the look of retro that dates back as early as 1930s, but plays the modern sound.

The wood and tweed-vinyl construction makes it look an outdated and old radio. However, it has an Aux input for iPod/MP3 player, laptop or turntable making it stylish and capable in its own way. Besides, it also features a sturdy wood cabinet dressed in classic tweed vinyl, telescopic antenna for improved reception, airplane dial tuner display, on/off/volume knob and turning knob at the front. It also has a tuner that is electronically assisted. The AM/FM/Aux Input select switch is placed at the back. The adapter allows you to conveniently select between wall power and batteries.

In addition to all this, just in case you want to carry this radio along with you, then you may do so. It doesn’t have to be plugged into the wall as it can also be run on 4AA batteries. You can buy The Crosley Nomad exclusively from Urban Outfitters at the price of $72 (USD).
