David Beckham is one of the most desired football players of all times. He has not only got a good body but also great fan following thanks to that. Rarely do we hear people talking about his football skills cos most of the times it is about what he wore, what he ate and what he did with his boring wifey Victoria Beckham. Sometimes I can’t decide which one is more boring among the two. Since the post is about David, I will actually say that he is far more boring than Posh is.

Nevertheless, to cut a bitchy story short, David is going to spend 4 days with the US army as a part of the promotional tour. The England international and his Los Angeles Galaxy teammates will be flying to the German country where they all will josh around with the army boys. They would show support to the troops in Afghanistan and elsewhere.

Now, do the soldiers really need Beckham’s support while in Afghanistan? To remind them that he is wearing expensive clothes while younger and cooler soldiers are languishing in the heat and dust of a desert and hostile country risking their lives? I think it is time to thank the soldiers more than celebrities who visit soldiers on a promotional tour “in support of the soldiers”. Huh! It makes no sense, especially during the Thanksgiving.
