Dell Unveils The All New Latitude 13 Notebook For Business User

Dell Inc, one of the most prestigious names in the computer hardware industry has now unveiled an all new laptop, called Latitude 13. Directed towards business users, this sleek and thin machine sports a 13 inch display screen and does not have an optical drive. Dell has termed the Latitude13 as “the world’s thinnest 13-inch commercial client laptop” and is aiming for the businesses that wish to employ a thin, ultra light laptop, with a great amount of processing speed.

In the year 2009, Dell had launched the Vostro 13, another commercial purpose laptop that featured a 13.3 inch display and looked quite similar to Dell Adamo, but a less expensive price tag. The all new Latitude 13 will be powered by Intel CULV processors and will be embedded with enterprise feature, designed specifically for corporate purposes, along with a LED back lit display.

The Latitude13 will feature some of the most cutting edge corporate solutions, such as an integrated Cytrix client as well as an automated system image distribution for software updates and crucial recovery features, that would come in pretty handy for the executives on the go. Furthermore, the Latitude13 laptops will provide the customer with an option to choose from Intel 1.3GHz Core 2 Duo, Pentium, or Celeron processors, with wifi, 3G connectivity and numerous SSD (Solid State Drive) options. The launch date and the pricing of the Dell Latitude 13 hasn’t been released yet, but, many believe that the machine could be ready for launch in a few weeks.
