One of the biggest and most renowned names in computer hardware manufacturing, Dell Inc. has recently unveiled an all new concept PC, that by all standards is extremely futuristic in looks and it would greatly resemble a computing machine from a sci-fi movie. The all new Dell Froot concept PC does not require a monitor and nor a keyboard for input and instead uses projectors, a single pico projector to be precise, in the rear so as to project the images on a wall, instead of a monitor. Another projector in the front of the device would turn any surface into a virtual keyboard.
The Dell Froot has been termed as a biodegradable, sustainable computer concept and it one one the most unique insights as to where the computing of the future would take us. This concept device could have a very vital impact on the computer industry, as the device would greatly minimize the headache of repairing crucial elements, such as keyboards, that many a times, cannot be repaired and need to be replaced. However, there is an extensive drawback to the concept as well, because typing on hard surfaces is very difficult, thus the laser depicted keyboard would prove to quite a cumbersome device and adding to the problems, is the ambient effect of the laser, that would be very hard to see in a well lit room. Meaning that a user might just have to work most of the times in dim lights, so he can see the keys on the keyboard.
