Digg has always been a popular social news site and now ne features have been added every now and then for the pleasure of all the visitors and Digg fans. Digg has just launched a new feature that is being called the DiggBar.
The DiggBar is a new Digg toolbar that will make Digging an article, and more, much easier. Many blogs offer a Digg button for users to Digg an article if they ‘dig’ it. With the DiggBar, this would be made even easier because it gives you the option of Digging directly on the destination site. Sharing articles on Twitter and other social networking sites would also be easier. Earlier, the Digg button would show how many times an article has been Digged but the DiggBar would also show how many times an article has been globally viewed. Comments on an article and related articles are easier to check out and the ‘random’ button would randomly select a post for your viewing pleasure.
Only launched a couple days ago, the effect of the DiggBar hasn’t really sunk in yet and we must wait a while to see how everyone is reacting to it. It does sound most practical and a lot of fun!
