Most people are used to having friends and colleagues who flaunt things in front of them just to make them jealous, and are also used to turning a blind eye to such thing. Then again, you have the really creative individuals who don’t give a damn about buying things but instead make up their own gadgets to gain others’ envy.

CaptPikel decided that he didn’t much like his colleague showing off a new mini fridge and decided to make one for himself, and ended up with something much better. I won’t bother to explain just how the fridge was made because CaptPikel can give you better instructions on that, but what he did was pretty much to stuff 3 peltier coolers into a pvc T joint and power the whole thingamee with 55 watt 5 volt power.

The Mini Fridge took CaptPikel 3 days to complete and the overall cost was about $15. The fridge can cool your beers down to 96 degree F and if you want to use the fridge inside the house then you can cool things down to 46 degree F. Pretty cool, eh?
