Apple Apps Store currently has numerous applications for the iPhone device, that range from browsers to turn by turn navigation to security applications. Now the Apple iPhone users will be introduced to an all new application for their phones that, would make them a Disco Jockey (DJ) without even having to buy the costly DJ equipments.

The all new application from Amidio is a first of its kind DJ application that is available on a mobile phone platform. The Touch DJ program is available for download for $19.99 and will give the users the ability to mix and manipulate MP3 or M4A files and will also be able to use various functions of a conventional DI mixing console such as, scratching, looping, positioning, equalization, effects and pitching.

All the DJ mixing features in the Amidio DJ MP3 iPhone / iPod touch application require extensive touch and tapping gestures, that makes optimum use of iPhone’s touch sensitive technology. Furthermore the user interface of the appellation is also quite elegant and simple at the same time.

However, the application does not allow the users to import songs directly from Apple iTunes and instead, the tracks have to be individually loaded into the application’s music library.
