Digg needs no introduction what with almost anyone who accesses the net everyday used to digging and burying the articles of our choice. Digg started a trend which other social networking sites were quick to pick up on and its popularity has soared to the point where even Google wished to become a part of it by attempting a buy.
In acknowledging their growing competition and deciding to collaborate instead of competing with their biggest competitor, Digg has just launched their latest and impatiently awaited feature, the Facebook Connect. With Facebook Connect, users can log into their Facebook account and start Digging immediately; their Digging activities would then be updated for everyone to check out on their Facebook home page. This allows you to easily check out articles people on your friends list have dugg so users can share their dugg articles with each other.
For those users who value their privacy to the point of being reclusive, Digg and Facebook insist the revelation of your Digging experiences are completely under your control via the ‘preference page’. More is on the way, allowing users to do away with the prompts asking for their permission to share their submissions or comments with friends. Also, disabling Facebook Connect will immediately lead to erasing your activity from the Digg site.

I enabled the update after seeing on official Digg blog, but It turns out to be very annoying because whenever we digg any article it enable a pop up saying Do you want to post it on facebook.
If you are an active digger who Digg more then 100 posts a day. You will always find this feature very annoying.
Its better to keep a check box, which can be used to publish any dugg article on your facebook wall.
Hey Harsh! Digg would be adding some new fearutes, one of which would let you disable the continuous prompts. Let’s just hope the updates come out soon.
