Dogs are intelligent animals and excellent companions, however animals can be dangerous in certain circumstances.

That was discovered by the owner of a Labrador (called Drake) in Oregon, United States. Drake is a good dog. And it is so sweet that even after firing a rifle against the owner, still getting fondling.

In last Saturday (22), Matthew Marcum was preparing to leave the boat in the Bay of Tillamook in Oregon (USA). He would hunt ducks, and therefore took a 12-gauge shotgun into his boat, whose cargo is generally composed of small beads of lead that are dispersed in the outbreak.

When the labrador jumped on the boat, accidentally fired the gun, reports the newspaper “The Oregonian”.

The shot hit the buttocks and legs of the owner, who had to be taken to the Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center in Portland. Henry Marcum, father of Matthew, said that Drake is still very dear in the family and that these things happen.

Yes accidents happen, but this is the big problem of the use of weapons, because accidents like this happen only where there is no effective control over the quantity of weapons in circulation.

The owner of the lab does not run risk of dying and will complete his recovery at home.
