Microsoft is ready to present its new browser after months when Internet users tried the beta version and sent suggestions for enhancement. Microsoft globally launches Internet Explorer 8 on March 20. The company describes the latest browser as “faster, easier, and safer,” assuring users that they can get information with fewer clicks. The new Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 comes packed with new features, among them is faster web browsing.
The new browser boasts of an accelerator function through which Internet users can conduct their daily browsing tasks more quickly because they will not need to copy and paste information from one page to another to see an address on a map or translate a word. Simply highlight the text of the website you want and click on the blue icon of Accelerators that appear above the text to access the site chosen, translate and define words, send content via email, or do many other tasks in the network. A wide range of accelerators may be selected.
Another novelty that is included in the new browser is the Web Slice. This is a feature whereby the user need not return to the same website again and again to check for updates of news or any other type of service as they will come through the new Favorites Bar that sends notification each time new content is generated.
