Wii Fit took the world by storm thanks to the unique combo of exercise and gaming together. However, Wii Fit is based on Eastern philosophy of fitness and concentrates on stretching and yoga.
This may not appeal to the Western consumer and this is where the newly announced EA Sports Active scores. It comes with a Western style fitness regime and includes more than 20 activities like running, calorie counter, game simulations and personal training. EA Sports Active is based on Wii remote and Nanchuk where as Wii Fit is based on balance board.
The game also comes with a rubber strap, resistance band and nutritional guide. This awesome game costs $60 and is way cheaper than a Wii Fit. The company claims that Sports Active can be bought independently or to complement Wii Fit. Either ways, people are going to love this unique fitness game.
