The innovative device is fully controllable with your foot leaving your hands free to do what it does best and making it a useful device to have around when recording alone. The Apogee GiO is compatible with Apple’s Logic Studio 9, MainStage 2 and GarageBand ’09. The big stompbox buttons allows the user to control audio, effects and recording functions without having to bother with a mouse.
The Apogee GiO can easily be powered through your Mac via the USB. Other features of the device include the much needed instrument input, MIDI Expression pedal input, and headphone jack. The device will be out in September for $395.
