Ebay Launches Campaign For New Fashion Outlet

Art, antiques, pottery, glasses, jewellery, DVDs, cellphones and so on. Ebay offers innumerable products at unbelievable prices. Moving towards fashion, its new offering is a section where a number of high street clothing brands and retailers can sell directly. Ebay has decided to launch this section in a big way. Their advertising agency, BBH has rolled up their sleeves for a multi channel ad campaign.

The basic aim is to highlight the big discounts on a range of products including clothes, accessories and other fashion items by well known brands such as House of Fraser, Kookai, Superdry and Office. This brief is well expressed in the tagline for the campaign; “The clothes you love, direct from the brands you love.” Moreover, the campaign effectively communicates an interesting way shoppers can get great deals on fashion, along with sufficing their desire for brands and bargains.

All set with the creative, Ebay’s media agency – Carat will release it with a boom on 3rd of May and will continue till 30th of June. The prime mediums chosen are, press, outdoor, online display, email marketing, PR and social media. On-site marketing has been led by Feed and the Partners developed visual identity for clothing and Outlet pages on Ebay.

To be in tandem with the marketing campaign, the no.1 clothing site in UK has also revamped themselves, and made visual browsing more intuitive. In all, the new fashion outlet at Ebay is being promoted in way like never before and hope to alter the online shopping experience forever.
