Designed by a team at Keio University in Tokyo, led by Professor Hiroshi Shimizu, the Electric LIthium-Ion Car is one speed demon that we would love to see on the road at some point in future. This goofy-looking car is no joke as it outpaces Tesla in acceleration and is gunning to be the fastest on the planet when it comes to street-legal cars. The car can top off at 235 mph and is aiming to go for the magic 250 mph mark. It hits 60 mph from zero in less than 4 seconds and has probably the craziest look for such a fast car.

The car is amazingly long for something that goes so fast and for all its 17 feet it can still only seat four people on the inside. It can work both on an electric version and also a hybrid version and while the car some really nice features such as gull-wing rear doors and stuff, it really is unlikely to ever make it to production. If it does, then it might cost anything around $ 255,000 and that is not a price that is probably acceptable for something so goofy, despite its speed!
