If you couldn’t get enough of the Mojito recipe, you must perhaps try the El Dorado. The name brings me the picture of canyons, cacti and cowboys with hats. Of course, who could forget the Spanish language as being heard in a Mexican bar and some fiery tequila! So that’s what El Dorado is all about, tequila.

You would need ice cubes, 3 parts tequila, 2 parts lemon and a spoon of exotic honey. Now to prepare the cocktail, choose a long glass and fill it up half with ice cubes and then add your tequila, lemon and honey. Shake well but don’t stir! Now, strain all the contents in to a Collins glass which is also half filled with ice. You could choose to garnish the drink with an orange wedge.

Trust me, this drink is quite fiery and the more tequila you add, the stronger it gets. I would say, this drink is perfect when it is cold and gloomy, and of course when your friends have arrived home. You could make a variant by adding a little liquor into the cocktail once you are done. I would say, El Dorado is the stuff that western movies are made of.
