Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone, famed for her debut score alongside king of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan in Om Shanti Om has lost a deal. Apparently Deepika’s contract with international cosmetic brand Maybelline has come to an end and she has been replaced by Indian model Diana Penty. She is currently a student of Elite Model Management.

But she has already managed to create a stir in the industry by this sudden turn of fate. Overtaking an established name such as Deepika definitely must be an achievement. She is just another name in the model fraternity and outdoing a celebrity name definitely means a lot. She now joins the league of international supermodels such as Christy Turlington, Adriana Lima and so on. This one by far is one of the quickest exits of such a big name as a brand ambassador.
