People usually have a peep-hole on their doors but then if you wish to get creative you could do something freaky and attached something else instead. While you’re wondering what you want to have on your door instead of the boring peep-hole then check out what Elivision did.

Elivision decided that the doors of homes and offices have to be pimped up and adding a peep-hole would be just way too boring. What you need on yours is a 17 inch LCD display. The LCD display for the doors would be developed with a Linux based DID board and would support a whole range of media files. Files can be transferred via a USB port. This can be a really good option for offices that might wish to advertise their products on the door to the office or you might want to leave a message for people on the door to your apartment, perhaps telling them to please get lost!

Elivision hasn’t yet revealed the pricing or even name of the product but it would be a pretty nifty addition to any door. Keep your eyes open for more information on this as soon as Elivision reveals more.
