It’s a Universal Truth that plants can add a lively dose of levity to any indoor space. However, you are often enough oblivious to a small truth such as plants being able to help you and your family breathe easily. This is no myth. According to Inhabitots, plants not only add greenery to any room but they also serve as great weapons in fighting against “Sick Building Syndrome.”
This is done so by the plants eating up carbon and dangerous off-grassed chemicals such as formaldehyde and benzene. Interestingly, another research conducted by NASA in 1989 on the same, revealed that many common houseplants and blooming potted plants help fight pollution indoors, making the air safer for humans. According to Extension Horticulturalist, Deborah L. Brown’s online article, it says that plants can literally scrub significant amounts of harmful gases out of the air through everyday processes of photosynthesis.
If you have been neglecting to follow this routine, then you may do so now without any delay. It’s never too late to start a good thing. In the meanwhile, you must also educate your children about the health benefits of plants.
