Talk about Canon and they aren’t doing very well in DSLR camera’s market, but it isn’t true when it comes to optics department. Over the past few years, they have redesigned, and also introduced a variety of focus distances premium such as, L-prime from 800mm 5.6L, 200mm F2.0l IS, 85mm II 1.2L , 50mm II 1.2L . Their most recent Digital SLR cameras are a decent pair of 17mm and 24mm tilt-shift lens.
However, the new L glasses may not be of any use to you, unless you are a professional landscape photographer or an architect. But if you are one of them, then you may surely love the 17mm Tilt-Shift lens and 24mm II as well. They also look very sophisticated.
The new L glasses are extremely expensive. They are available at Amazon for pre-order and are priced at $2,499 and $2199 for the 17mm and 24mm II, respectively. The price gives me ample reasons to not waste a second glance at these lenses. They are perhaps made best for the professional requirements and not for the ordinary usages.
