Today, Facebook introduced some new design modifications and additions, especially to its inbox. Before this latest update, maintaining one’s Facebook inbox seemed to be quite a challenge, as it was quite congested and a bit more complicated.

In the new design incorporated by Facebook, users will now be able to classify their messages according to their needs. The new Facebook inbox comes equipped with a filter with the help of which, you can filter you messages, e.g read, unread, spam etc.

Also, the search feature that was previously unavailable in the inbox has now been added in there. A user can type the name of a friend or a group and the messages from only that person or group would be shown. This search box is located at the upper left corner of your screen.

Inspite of the recent modifications and additions Facebook still has retained many of its features that are extremely useful to the users. One of them being the updates from your favorite Facebook pages that would still be available for your review. Users can also subscribe to their favorite fan pages. These subscriptions can be made by clicking the ‘Edit Subscriptions’ link just underneath ‘Inbox of updates’.
