Fake Steve Jobs Blog Might Be Shut Down For The Sake Of Steve Jobs Parody TV Series

The name Steve Jobs rings the tune of Apple Inc., the iPhone, iPad and the ever so popular, the fake Steve Jobs blog, that now is known for a fact was run by Dan Lyons, a writer for the Newsweek magazine. His online parody of Apple CEO, Steve Jobs that is being run under the umbrella of the fake Steve Jobs blog has gathered an impressive number of followers and is said to be one of the funniest blogs on the web.

However, this fake Steve Jobs blog might see itself being shut down because of an all new TV comedy series from EPIX that would revolve around Steve Jobs and the other big names in the Silicon Valley. As per sources, it seems the new TV series will comprise of online components as well such as, a blog or website or both. Hence, there is a growing concern that, the TV series along with the Fake Steve Jobs blog might confuse the audience.

Related to the similar story, Dan Lyons and his team of lawyers apparently went at loggerheads with the studio currently in charge of the production of the TV series. This happened because, the studio while presenting its contract to Mr. Lyons had inserted a legal parameter, that entitled them to take control of his blog. However, the consensual opinion is that, this minor obstacle will be cleared soon and the production will begin as per schedule. The TV series has been inspired from Lyon’s book, ‘Options: The Secret Life of Steve Jobs – A Parody’.
