The New York Post reveals that “the FBI had been asked to analyze a VHS tape that had been seized by US Customs as part of a child-porn probe into Jacko. The Sony tape was labeled in part: “Michael Jackson’s Neverland Favorites An All Boy Anthology.”
The New York Daily News reports that “the FBI aided in Jackson molestation investigations in the Philippines and in London, where there was a report he made an X-rated call to a young fan” and that “California prosecutors received help from the FBI’s Behavioral Science Unit, the “profilers” used to track down serial killers, in their 2005 case against Jackson.”
Hot off the press is yet another controversy pointing to the possibility that superstar Michael Jackson had been a child sexual molester. Under the Freedom of Information Act, the FBI has just released files on Jackson investigations. Nearly half of the 333-page dossier, covering the period 1992 to 2004, pertains to child molestation.
In these cases, no charges were filed against Jackson, victims refused to testify, witnesses were unwilling to cooperate, and initial complaints all but ended up not pursued for one reason or another.
In spite of Jackson’s lucky streak in evading prosecution, there just have been too many such allegations concerning his dubious relations with male minors that such a reputation has effectively smeared his megastar status. That’s a price he paid, along with several millions of dollars in out-of-court settlements.
