Olesya Mostovschikova, living in Irkutsk in Siberia, repeatedly hit her friend whom she was out rowing with earlier in the day. She then proceeded to carve portions of her cadaver, roasted them in the oven, and ate heartily – all these witnessed by her seven-year-old son, from the murder to the feast.
She has been arrested. In her testimony to the police, Mostovschikova calmly confessed: “I took the axe and hit her a number of times on her head. Then I cut off her ears, gouged out one eye, cut off an arm, and a hand. I took the hand, arm and eye and cooked these body parts in the oven.”
Mostovschikova was with another friend when she went on the cannibalistic spree. She and her friend Julia whom she threatened to kill and eat as well kept the body of 32-year-old Tatiana Romanchuk in the cellar of her Irkutsk home (pictured above).
Not having had their fill of freshly slaughtered human flesh, the two went down to the cellar once again, and carved off parts of the victim’s buttock, breast, and a cheek. They fried the parts this time and ate hungrily.
The next day, Mostovschikova carved off more slices before deciding to dispose of what is left of the victim’s body. She put her legs in a garbage disposal bag, threw them nearby, and buried the rest. The police trailed the gruesome murder from the evidence in the garbage bin.
Mostovschikova can be sentenced to 15 years in prison. Her son was transferred to a children’s rehabilitation center.
