Have you ever imagined that you could fly to another continent within no time while still sitting in your apartment? Perhaps, this could be quite possible by 2060 if you live in “Flying Apartment System” visualized by designer Dennis Ingemansson. The super cool apartment is designed in collaboration with a team comprising Michael Robinson, Diego Della Spiga, Jak Haleva, Turi Cacciatore and Luca Buttafava.

The most amazing feature of the Flying Machine System is that it can fly its residents to another continent or to another place within 15-20 minutes by floating just like an airplane at a high altitude. It can fly from Shanghai to New York in just 20 minutes and from London to Dubai in 27 minutes. This will indeed be the best mode of transportation and the fastest want to travel between different continents.

It is also capable of changing its appearance to withstand the furies of the atmosphere. If this concept ever becomes real then it will simply be wonderful. The only concern is that it will take another five decades to bring this to reality (that is if it ever happens). It’s a tragedy that we will be older by 50 years.
