To the joy of the millions of fans of anime, was launched a new version of the anime Fullmetal Alchemist, now based entirely on manga, called “Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood”.

The story is quite complex. After losing their mother, Edward and Alphonse Elric try to bring her back using the forbidden science of human alchemy. However, the alchemy is subject to the theory of equivalent exchange.

Breaking the taboo of alchemy has a high human price. Ed loses his leg and Al loses his entire body. Ed is able to seal the soul of Al inside a large armor, which cost his arm. Years later, Ed (now with two mechanical prostheses) and Al (still trapped in the armor) leave their childhood home, each concerned with the happiness of another.

Ed, who has natural talent and skills for alchemy, becomes nationally certified an alchemist and soon becomes known as “Fullmetal Alchemist.”

The real purpose of them is searching for any information on the legendary philosopher stone, hoping that it permits to bring back their old bodies. All their hopes are on this mystical stone that can not even exist. However, the brothers soon discover that they are not alone in search of powerful stone.

The homunculus (artificial humans) are also behind the rock and they still cross the path of Scar, a subject of mysterious powers that are seeking revenge for all Federal Alchemists, killing them cruelly.

On their journey, the Elric brothers discover conspiracies and connections between the army and the homunculus.

Undoubtedly, this new version is essential for those who are fans of the manga and the anime.
