You might have noticed your Xbox controller becoming hot after using it for some time. Now, all gadgets become hot when they are sued for a long time and that is perhaps why cooling is such an important part of the technological build-up. Cooling is so important for a gadget that without it, it can even cause short circuits.

Most designers play particular prominence to the cooling of a gadget, and when it is not really that successful, the life of the gadget comes down. Matthieu Gerard-Goddet is a Taipei based designer who is the team leader of the group working on Chillstream, an Xbox controller. The Chillstream has been developed in collaboration with Logitech and comes with an inbuilt fan, modded into an existing Xbox controller.

The key to the cooling is the tunnel effect which has been mastered by the team. Apparently, they have got enough good feedback to believe that the Chillstream is going to be a great success. It is not clear when the Chillstream Xbox Controller would be launched, but when it is I am sure a lot of people would want to buy it.
