Indians are hypocritical even about heterosexual sex so it should not be a surprise that they avoid queer topics and stick on to the 377 forever. The Section 377 is just an excuse as India unlike others have noted, has always been a deeply homophobic country. Homophobia was not implanted here by the British but is an integral part of the awesome culture they are so proud of. Racism, Homophobia, Misogyny, Child sex Abuse, Fundamentalism, etc are the pillars of Indian culture. Sad, but true.
