Chocaholism is an addictive disorder that can make an individual completely surrender themselves to the desire of chocolate. This contagious disorder costs the US over $25 million in health care costs each year with this amount rising every year. Well, perhaps not, but chocaholics still find it difficult to refrain from taking sinful bites of chocolate.
Harvard professor David Edwards thinks our consumption desires are heading from the need to eat to the need to smell something. No wonder then that he is the lead inventor of Le Whif, inhalable chocolate. Sounds strange, but Edwards believes that Le Whif is just what people need to keep their appetite under control. Just take a sniff of your desired chocolate instead adding calories with a chewable chocobar. Le Whif is available in four flavours: mint chocolate, raspberry chocolate, mango chocolate, and plain chocolate.
Inspired by Le Whif, Foodlab is in the process of making more whif-able food at Le Laboratoire and these would be shown at Le Whif world our which launched at the end of April this year. Imagine taking a whif of chips or pizzas instead of eating them; people would start thinking I’m doing coke again!
