The launch of one of the coolest gadgets for the year 2010, the tablet device from Apple Inc. called Apple iPad has in just less than a month become a topic that as the entire online world buzzed with excitement. Since its launch, we have seen a myriad of iPad compatible applications being introduced into the Apple App Store for both personal and business use, along with a series of extremely popular gaming titles, such as the Need For Speed from Electronics Art (EA).
However, the iPad mania isn’t only constricted to applications and accessories, there have been numerous attempts by designers to beautify this incredibly awesome device. Some of these designers even went to the lengths of studding the iPad with Swaroski crystals. However, Colorware, a name that has been providing vibrant colors to sophisticated gadgets, has now unveiled its latest creation, that of a colored Apple iPad. The users can log on to the Colorware website and can even customize their own color patterns suitable for the iPads.
The price of sending in an iPad for the colorization process will set you back an additional $400 on top of the $400 you’ve already spent on the device. Also, if you plan to purchase a new colored iPad directly from the company, then the prices jumps to $900. No matter how colorful it may be, it doesn’t make any sense to pay double for a device that has nothing more than colors added to its body. I would rather stick with my original Apple iPad.
