Swiss watchmaker Girard-Perregaux is foraying into the world of writing and will surely make as much of an impression as was accomplished in the world of time. After over 200 years, it seems the time is right to apply their traditional style signature on instruments of writing.
Based on the Three Bridges gold tourbillon watch by the firm, the new line of luxury pens will undoubtedly be as chic and elegant, making a statement without the whisper of a word. The pens with metal casing are intricately adorned with guilloche work engravings and the clip of the pen is designed after the bridge of the famous watch. The body of the pen features three opening that would show the ink level and are meant to be an indication of the power reserve indicators of the watch. The Girard-Perregaux luxury fountain pens will be available in three models- pistons of guilloche silver and resin or guilloche pink gold and resin, and a rollerball in guilloche silver and resin.
Only 999 units of the piston and rollerball guilloche silver and resin model will be made but the pink gold and resin version will be even more exclusive with only 99 units of this luxury pen to be created. Price of the models are as yet unavailable but these, like the watches, are surely intended for the elite few.
