
The immensely popular GlideTV Navgiator has now been given a new buddy in the form of an new software, which was demonstrated by the company at the DEMO Spring 2010 conference. This new software application, allows the users to use their laptops connected to HD television to view online content such as online videos.
Generally, when users connect their PCs or laptops with their televisions, it becomes increasingly difficult for the users find the content they are looking for on the web. However, the all new software for the Navigator product provides big screen picture on the televisions and thus expands the horizons of the web available on the television screens. One of the salient features of the new software is called, ‘What’s On’. This one of kind incredible feature enables the users go through a consolidated list of all movies and videos from various websites, all in a single place.
The ‘What’s On’ feature provides the users with entertainment categories and genre, thus making it a breeze for them to find the show or video of their choice. Furthermore, the users can also hop from entertainment to social networking and to other areas of the web, thanks to the multi tasking features of the new Navigator software. The entire online experience can be remote controlled with the help of the Navigator wireless touchpad, that provides the users the flexibility of surfing the web, in the comfort of their couch.
