This is probably the saddest global warming ad ever! Created by Quercus, a non-profit organisation that focuses on raising awareness of Portuguese eco probelms and campaigns against nuclear power.

Your heart will begin to rip at the very sound of the helpless music that reeks into the image of a barren, parched and treeless earth. The only inhabitants are a chimp, a polar bear and a kangaroo. Each isolated in its habitat with absolutely no sign of anyone around. The hoplessness on their faces will make you sad too. In the end, they commit suicide. The monkey hangs itself, the polar bear takes a plunge into the sea and the kangaroo jumps in fornt of a moving train.

If that wasn’t enough to make your hearts cry out, the punchline does the trick. ‘IF you give up, they give up’ and ‘Stop Global Warming’ will actually force you to join the effort to save earth before its too late.

I personally like the ad though many have rubbished it as green porn or exaggerated!
